Heavenly and relaxing, these volcanic hot springs are naturally heated by the Rincon de la Vieja volcano, considered Costa Rica’s largest in diameter. It reaches an altitude of over 1,916 metres.
Surrounded by a rich ecosystem, the crystal-clear river flows through astonishing natural stone pools created to capture these mineral-rich springs. You can access these pools – of varying temperatures, linked by two suspension bridges offering magnificent views of the flora and fauna.
