Oropendula Waterfalls at Rincon Volcano

As the climate in Guanacaste is mostly dry and warm, you’ll be happy do discover get to the site for a refreshing swim in the Oropendula Waterfall. It is a short 10 minutes walk from the national park entrance, on a trail with varying terrain to get down to the river bottom.

Arriving at the site, you will have a lot of fun crossing one of the most unique and amusing hanging bridges in Costa Rica. The bridge is a a hanging stairway about 100 feet long, leading you to a lovely site that is cool, fresh and natural.

The Oropendula Waterfall plunges an impressive 82 feet (25 meters) to a sparkling turquoise pool in the lush canyon of the Rio Blanco (White River), creating a picturesque tropical oasis.

This is one of the most amazing waterfalls in Guanacaste. The river bottom is filled with volcanic rocks that defines this site as nothing but enchanting through the crystal-clear waters. If you have a waterproof camera, this is the place to capture amazing photos.
